1. Who we are

Foxspec Ltd is a New Zealand company. We build operations software for trade businesses in New Zealand and Australia. When we say "Foxspec", "we", or "us" in this policy, we mean Foxspec Ltd.

2. What we collect

When you join the waitlist, we collect your email address, trade type, country, and a description of your biggest admin pain point. We also record the page you signed up from and any UTM parameters in the URL.

When you use the Foxspec platform (once available), we collect the information you provide to run your business - jobs, quotes, invoices, compliance documents, crew details, and evidence. This data belongs to your organisation.

3. How we use your data

Waitlist data is used to invite you to early access and understand which trade-specific features to prioritise. We do not sell, share, or use your data for advertising.

Platform data is used solely to provide the Foxspec service to your organisation. We do not train AI models on your business data and we do not share it with third parties except the services you explicitly connect (such as Xero, email providers, or payment processors).

4. Where we store data

All data is stored in the Australia (Sydney) region. We use industry-standard encryption in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest.

5. Your rights

Under the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020 and the Australian Privacy Principles, you have the right to access, correct, and request deletion of your personal information. You can export all your data at any time from within the platform. To make a request, email privacy@foxspec.co.nz.

6. Cookies and analytics

This marketing site uses privacy-focused analytics (when enabled) that do not use cookies for tracking. We do not run retargeting, fingerprinting, or cross-site tracking. The platform application uses essential cookies for authentication only.

7. Changes to this policy

We will update this page if our practices change. Material changes will be communicated via email to registered users.
