Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By accessing foxspec.co.nz or using the Foxspec platform, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. The service

Foxspec provides operations software for trade businesses, including job management, quoting, invoicing, compliance tracking, crew coordination, document management, and tender extraction. The service is provided on a subscription basis with role-based seat pricing.

3. Accounts and access

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Each seat is for one named user. You must not share login credentials between team members. Organisation administrators can add, remove, and manage seat assignments.

4. Your data

You retain ownership of all business data you enter into Foxspec. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your content. You can export your data at any time. When you delete your account, we will delete your data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

5. AI features

Foxspec uses AI to assist with quote drafting, tender extraction, email triage, and compliance automation. AI-generated content is always presented for your review before any action is taken. We do not train AI models on your business data. AI outputs are suggestions, not professional advice.

6. Pricing and billing

Pricing is per seat, per role tier (Owner/Admin, Office/Sales, Crew/Basic). Tender extraction is charged via usage-based credits. Prices are in NZD or AUD depending on your billing country. We will give at least 30 days notice before any price changes. Early-access founder pricing is locked for the life of the subscription.

7. Cancellation

You can cancel at any time from your account settings. Monthly plans end at the current billing period. Annual plans are refunded pro-rata for unused months. Your data remains available for export for 30 days after cancellation.

8. Limitation of liability

Foxspec is provided "as is". We do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We are not liable for business decisions made based on AI-generated content, compliance suggestions, or any other output of the platform. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months prior to any claim.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of New Zealand.
